What Is The International Electronics Forum?

The International Electronics Forum, inaugurated in 1991 is an executive-level meeting held annually in May respectively in co-operation with the host country’s government, with delegates spanning the full spectrum of the semiconductor electronic industry. 

With a typical attendance level of over 120 senior executives, mainly CEO's and senior executives, from semiconductor companies, microelectronics companies, semiconductor equipment and materials firms, electronics equipment and systems manufactures, start up organisations, government and industry officials and investment organisations. It is a internationally recognised semiconductor forum to debate amongst industry peers.

In honour of Carlo Emanuele Ottaviani

The Raffle Helped Us Raise Money For the Italian Association for Blood Diseases

Once again Future Horizons held a raffle at the International Electronics Forum 2011.  This year's raffle was in honour of Carlo Emanuele Ottaviani Corporate Vice President, Communication, at STMicroelectronics who sadly passed away in January 2011. 

Carlo expressed his wishes for donations to be made to the Italian Association for Blood Diseases, therefore the forum's raffle proceedings were donated to his chosen charity.

The 2012 forum is held under the patronage of The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia and in co-operation with the Armenian Development Agency (ADA), The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia, The State Engineering University of Armenia (SEUA), The Armenian Business Community and Synopsys Armenia CJSC.

Co-sponsored by the Armenian Development Agency, the event will be held in conjunction with DigiTech Expo 2012, October    5-7, the leading Armenian international Information and Telecomminication Technologies exposition.

Deliberately timed to coincide with the 21st anniversary of Armenian Independence, the forum will not only explore the future electronics industry development, technology, business and humanitarian opportunities, it will also highlight Armenian's untapped potential for new collaborations in education, engineering, science business and the social environment.
