Studio 7 Malta

If you're looking for an AV supplier in Malta, read this first.

• We hired Studio 7 to run the IEF2005 Forum AV at the Hilton, Malta.
• Part of the spec was to video record the proceedings.
• Despite being given a timed programme running order, they missed a vital 30 seconds of presentation recording when the tape ran out and the cassette had to be changed.
• Their excuse?  'It's your fault.  Your spec only asked for the proceedings to be videoed, not that there shouldn't be gaps in the recording'. So said Jo Debono, Managing Director Studio 7.
• We thought that was obvious, especially as simply changing the cassette at the start of each session would have avoided the problem.
• Our spec never asked them to put film in the camera either... so I guess, by their logic, we got off rather lightly!

Make your own judgement.  We will never use them again.
