Japan Earthquake - Show Your Support To The Japanese Electronics Industry
I am still struggling to come to terms with the dreadful earthquake and Tsunami in Japan, as I am sure are you. I have also been deeply touched and profoundly humbled by the decency, strength, stoicism and resilience of the Japanese people in the face of such a dreadful tragedy.
Due to the severity of the situation and as a mark of respect, both to Japan and our industry, I have taken the decision to postpone the forthcoming IEF2011 Forum originally scheduled to be held in Marrakech, Morocco on May 4-6, to the Fall, when hopefully the situation will be more settled.
I really appreciate your support for our event and I apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused by my decision. I am sure however that you will agree with me that this pales in comparison to what the Japanese nation and its people are currently enduring.
I hope you will still be able to join us in the Fall and I would appreciate your assistance with helping us select a new date for the forum. Please choose your preferred dates from the list below and send us your preferences.
